Here it is: Susie and my “shop ’til you drop” excursion. My son took this picture because he refused to be in it. Sometimes I pay him
to get in front of the camera, but it didn’t work this time. When this was taken we’d played minature golf, gone shoe shopping, went out to eat, gone to the mall, and were about to eat ice-cream. Whew! After ice cream the kids hit one movie and Susie and I went to The Devil Wears Prada. (A good choice for Susan May Warren the chick-lit writer, don’t you think?) It must’ve been after midnight when we quit running around, but that’s okay–we just needed to SHOP the next day. LOL. It was fun doing the mom and teen thing. BTW, left to right (first picture) are Susie’s children, David and Sarah, then Susie, me, and my Sarah.
Did I mention Susie lives four hours from the nearest mall and 2 hours from the nearest Wal-Mart? It’s a good thing David likes to read because the second day of store mania was enjoyed much more by the females! (My son didn’t even go!) Pictured here are David, Susie, Sarah, Sarah, and me. Yes we both have Sarah’s. We also both have four children, 1 girl and three boys, and our children are about the same ages. We discovered this when she came to visit before ICRS. Isn’t that fun?
